The designer behind the brand, Subhabrata Sadhu is a New Delhi–based textile designer and a postgraduate in Textile Design from the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad. Trained initially at the Madras College of Arts and Crafts, his practice is deeply rooted in handloom traditions, with a strong commitment to craft conservation and sustainability.

After working with a few reputed companies in India and engaging extensively with artisan communities across India, Subhabrata discovered pashmina during a weaving workshop in Kashmir in 2008. Inspired by its exceptional softness and the mastery of Kashmiri weavers, he founded his own brand of handmade pashmina scarves and shawls in 2011.

Known for his refined use of color and geometric compositions, his work blends contemporary design with traditional craftsmanship. His collections are showcased internationally and retailed in leading boutiques worldwide, earning acclaim from renowned designers and textile experts.
